Privacy Policy
What Interconnections collects on this website, what our reporting tool accesses with each client's permission, and what we will never do with any of it.
Last updated: July 16, 2026
1. Who we are
This website is operated by Interconnections Media Inc. ("Interconnections", "we", "us"), a marketing and analytics agency based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Alongside this website, we operate an internal reporting tool called Super Reporter that our clients authorize to read their advertising and store performance data. This policy covers both: data collected from visitors to this website, and data accessed through Super Reporter on behalf of clients.
2. Data we collect on this website
When you submit a contact or diagnostic form, we collect the details you provide: name, email, company, and anything you write in your message. When you run our AI visibility audit, we collect the website address you check and the business email you provide to receive the report. When you browse the site, the analytics tools described in the Cookies section collect usage data such as pages visited, device type, and approximate location.
3. Data we access through Super Reporter
With each client's explicit authorization, Super Reporter connects to that client's accounts on Meta (Facebook and Instagram Ads), Google Ads, Shopify, and Klaviyo through their official APIs. This includes data received from Meta Platforms through the Meta Marketing API. The tool retrieves advertising and commerce performance aggregates: ad spend, impressions, clicks, conversions, revenue, order counts, and campaign and ad names. All stored metrics are daily aggregates.
4. What we do not collect
Super Reporter does not collect, store, or process personal information about our clients' customers. No names, no emails, no addresses, no phone numbers, no payment details. We work with aggregate performance numbers, not individual shopper records.
5. How we use data
Website inquiries are used to respond to you and, where you asked about our services, to follow up about working together. Client performance data is used solely to provide reporting and marketing analysis to the client that owns it. Interconnections never sells data, never shares one client's data with another, and never uses client data for advertising of our own.
6. Where data is stored and for how long
Client performance data is stored securely in Google Cloud (BigQuery) and displayed in a private, password protected reporting dashboard that only the respective client and the Interconnections team can access. We retain this data for the duration of the client relationship and delete it on request or when the engagement ends. Website form submissions are kept only as long as needed to handle your request or maintain a business relationship.
7. Who we share data with
We share data only with the service providers needed to run our website and reporting: Google Cloud for data storage and processing, and Vercel for website hosting. We never sell data, and we never share it with third parties for their own use.
8. Data Deletion
Clients, and users of the platforms we connect to, can request deletion of the data we hold by emailing hello@theinterconnections.com. We will delete the stored data and confirm once it is done. A client can also revoke Super Reporter's access at any time in their own platform settings (for example Meta Business settings, Google Ads access controls, the Shopify admin, or Klaviyo account settings), which stops all future collection immediately. Stored data is also deleted when a client engagement ends.
9. Security
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Reporting dashboards are private and password protected, and access is limited to the respective client and authorized Interconnections team members.
10. Your rights
You can ask us at any time to show you the information we hold about you or your accounts, correct it, or delete it. Email hello@theinterconnections.com and we will respond within one business day. Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA) applies to how Interconnections handles personal information.
11. Cookies and analytics
This website uses PostHog for anonymized usage analytics, a Meta Pixel and an OpenAI ads pixel to measure whether our own advertising brings visitors here, and Google reCAPTCHA to protect our forms from spam. You can block cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work.
12. Third-party links
This site links to external platforms such as LinkedIn, Twitter, and Clutch. Their privacy practices are their own; this policy covers only this website and Super Reporter.
13. Changes to this policy
If our practices change, we will update this page and the date at the top. We will not weaken how client data is handled without telling the affected clients first.
14. Contact
Privacy questions or requests? Email hello@theinterconnections.com and Interconnections will respond within one business day.
